Building Maintenance

Reports to : Production Manager

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Review the documentation and instructions of the supervisor as to work priorities;
  • Assess the need of tools and parts for maintenance;
  • Advise the supervisor for any purchases needed;
  • Prepare tools and equipment for the maintenance or repair;
  • Maintain the equipment for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic level according to established schedules or the needs of operations;
  • Maintain lighting systems, heating/air conditioning units, welding and machining units;
  • Repair machines according to the identified problems;
  • Inform the supervisor if repairs require outsourcing services;
  • Verify, inspect and/or test the maintenance or repairs carried out by the subcontractor;
  • Adjust according to the results and audits;
  • Complete documentation of maintenance and repair;
  • Maintain the maintenance of the position, tools and/or used equipment;
  • Notify the supervisor of all breakage or defects in the tools or equipment used;
  • Apply the rules of Health and Safety at work in force within the company at all times;
  • Perform other related tasks;

 

Qualifications

  • DEP in Electro-mechanics;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an electro-mechanic;
  • Possess a C License;
  • Knowledge of building electrical;
  • Knowledge of air conditioning systems;
  • Knowledge of CNC machine repair;
  • Knowledge of base industrial mechanics;
  • Good knowledge of reading and interpretation of design;
  • Bilingual, both oral and written;

  • Have a good work organization, sense of responsibility and good working capacity;
  • Be autonomous, have capacity for analysis and judgment in the resolution of problems
  • Attain a speed for execution;
  • Be able to work well under pressure;
