CDS’ Servo Precision Multi-Pass Cross-Cut Saws accommodate thicker and/or solid extrusions as they are designed to cut in multiple increments until the cut is complete. Servo activated cross-cut action increases cutting accuracy and cut-to-length repeatability.

Saw Sequence
Multi-Pass cross-cut as follows:
1.
Blade comes up into the part at first
2.
Blade travels across part width
3.
Blade drops under table and returns home
4.
The above sequence is repeated multiple times until the cut is completed
5.
Saw clamp releases part
6.
Blade drops underneath the table
7.
Blade and table returns home
